UAA has completed 7 DECADES in theatre and still going strong. Y.Gee.MAHENDRA has completed 5 DECADES in Film Industry, more than 4 DECADES in Television Industry. He has performed more than 7,000 times on stage without any break /interruption.
He has also worked in Tamil Cine Industry, where he has many accolades and appreciation even in his recent role in the Movie ``Maanadu`` in 2021.

United Amateur Artistes
United Amateur Artistes, the oldest among Tamil Theatre groups active today, was founded in 1952 by the doyen of Tamil theatre Late Sri. Y. G. Parthasarathy, along with his writer-director-actor friend Sri. Pattu and has been continuously staging plays ever since. Many famous personalities, including the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Hon. Ms Dr J. Jayalalitha, apart from her mother Sandhya, Aunt Vidya, Nagesh, V. Gopalakrishnan, Srikanth, Lakshmi, her mother Rukmani, Cho, Ragini, Sukumari, Vaishnavi, Radha Ravi, Yuvasree, Mouli, Visu, Vietnam Veedu Sundaram, ARS, and several others. UAA has to its credit more than 7000 performances so far.

Madhu Enterprise is a company engaged in video productions. It has already produced an 11-episode serial entitled 'Sathyma Solren' in Tamil, which was telecast on Channel One of Madras Doordarshan, as a programme, in 1991.
